Hello people welcome to this RMT. I have mostly been a trader till about a month ago when I discovered how much fun wifi battles really are. I would just slap a team together and go but I have learned a lot over the two months. I have realized that I need to get a good team together and here is my first attempt at a team.

    AT A GLANCE

    Mamoswine@ Focus Sash
    Nature: Adamant
    Evs: 252att, 252speed
    Move set:
    -Ice Shard
    -Ice Fang
    -EQ
    -Stone Edge

I wonder why you do not see many Mamo leads out there because these things are BEASTS. It hits almost all leads and everything else with super effective damage and if it does not it still hits very hard. Eq hits leads such as Metagross and Typhlosion. Ice Shard hits Salamence hard and other faster leads that are weak to ice. Stone Edge for Yanmega and Moltres. And finally Ice fang for STAB on slower leads. Maybe I should put stealth rocks over it?

    *pokemonelite2000 image removed*

    Zapdos@ Leftovers
    Nature: Timid
    Evs: 252spA, 252speed
    Move set:
    -Hp Ice
    -T-bolt
    -Heat Wave
    -Roost

This is a special attacking Zapdos. Hp ice and thunderbolt hit many things for super effective damage. Heat wave is my only fire attack on my whole team so this guy is for pesky Pokémon like Sizor and Bronzong. Since this guy can take a few hits and roost helps heal back up and gets rid of his ice and rock weaknesses.

    *pokemonelite2000 image removed*

    Shaymin@ Life orb
    Nature: Timid
    Evs:252spA, 252speed
    Move set:
    -Seed Flare
    -Earth power
    -Psychic
    -Rest

Shaymin has really great stats but a not so great move pool. Even though its move pool is not so great it has the right moves to do some damage. Seed flare is a great STAB and the spD drop is very nice. Earth power hits fire types that come in on it. Psychic is for poisons and fighting types (which seem to be thrown in often when I use it). With natural cure Shaymin can rest switch out then come back in with full health and not be sleepy at all.

    *pokemonelite2000 image removed*

    Heracross@ Life orb
    Nature: Adamant
    Evs: 252att, 252speed
    Move set:
    -Close Combat
    -Megahorn
    -Stone Edge
    -Pursuit

This is my physical attacker. Close Combat for STAB and is very nice against the ever popular Blissey. Megahorn for my other STAB and is a very strong move.Stone edge for any flying types that come and take CC and Megahorn. If you switch in Heracross into something it scares just Pursuit it.

    *pokemonelite2000 image removed*

    Spiritomb@ Leftovers
    Nature: Careful
    Evs: 252hp, 140att, 116spD
    Move set:
    -Sucker Punch
    -Taunt
    -Pain Split
    -Will-O-Wisp

Spiritomb can take hits from physical and special attacks. It takes physical attacks even better with WOW. Taunt is for Pokémon that come in and try to set up and also makes them attack which allows sucker punch to hit (unless they switch).Pain split if your low on hp. I should also note that Spiritomb makes quick work of Gengar, Alakazam, and many other ghost and psychic types.

    *pokemonelite2000 image removed*

    Blissey
    Nature: Bold
    Evs: 252def, 252hp
    Move set:
    -Seismic Toss
    -T-Wave
    -Soft-boiled
    -Aromatherapy

And of course Blissey this thing is a GOD! Blissey is just very annoying. Seismic Toss for good damage. T-wave stuff to make them slower and for hax. Aromatherapy to support team and Soft-boiled for healing. This is walled by ghost though.

So this is my team let me know what you think of it. Thanks for looking and any help you might have :).

First off, there's a buttload of coding in your post, and I'd like to know why. :/ Now onto the rate (bold):

    Mamoswine@Focus Sash
    Nature: Adamant
    Evs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
    Move set:
    - Ice Shard
    - Stealth Rock
    - EQ
    - Stone Edge

I wonder why you do not see many Mamo leads out there because these things are BEASTS. It hits almost all leads and everything else with super effective damage and if it does not it still hits very hard. Eq hits leads such as Metagross and Typhlosion. Ice Shard hits Salamence hard and other faster leads that are weak to ice. Stone Edge for Yanmega and Moltres. And finally Ice fang for STAB on slower leads. Maybe I should put stealth rocks over it?

I see possible trouble with a Lead Jirachi. It runs Iron Head, and that 60% chance of flinch kind of screws you over. :/ 2HKO, unless you don't flinch, in which case, I highly suggest you EQ it right off the bat. OHKO to that thing. My suggestion before that though would be to replace this guy with a different lead.

    Zapdos@ Life Orb
    Nature: Timid
    Evs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
    Move set:
    - Hidden Power [Ice]
    - Thunderbolt
    - Heat Wave
    - Roost

This is a special attacking Zapdos. Hp ice and thunderbolt hit many things for super effective damage. Heat wave is my only fire attack on my whole team so this guy is for pesky Pokémon like Scizor and Bronzong. Since this guy can take a few hits and roost helps heal back up and gets rid of his ice and rock weaknesses.

Extremespeed after a SD from a Lucario can OHKO with SR up. You need something to deal with it. If you're going to use this special sweeping set over the defensive set (which is much better for dealing with the likes of Scizor, Lucario, and Bronzon) you need something to support it. :/ My suggestion of getting rid of Lucario would be Magnezone. See outer quote for a set.

    Shaymin@ Life Orb
    Nature: Timid
    Evs: 32 HP / 252 SpA / 224 Spe
    Move set:
    - Seed Flare
    - Hidden Power [Fire]
    - Leech Seed
    - Rest

Shaymin has really great stats but a not so great move pool. Even though its move pool is not so great it has the right moves to do some damage. Seed flare is a great STAB and the spD drop is very nice. Earth power hits fire types that come in on it. Psychic is for poisons and fighting types (which seem to be thrown in often when I use it). With natural cure Shaymin can rest switch out then come back in with full health and not be sleepy at all.

Psychic is lol. Leech Seed will help with the LO damage and help make Shaymin last longer. It'll probably require some prediction to use though. :/ Scizor owns this with one X-Scissor (unboosted too). That's why you should use HP [Fire] over Earth Power. It can OHKO Scizor and you need that.

    Heracross@Choice Band
    Nature: Adamant
    Evs: 96 HP / 252 Atk / 160 Spe
    Move set:
    - Close Combat
    - Megahorn
    - Stone Edge
    - Pursuit

This is my physical attacker. Close Combat for STAB and is very nice against the ever popular Blissey. Megahorn for my other STAB and is a very strong move.Stone edge for any flying types that come and take CC and Megahorn. If you switch in Heracross into something it scares just Pursuit it.

If you want to use these moves, use a Choice Band. You'll maximize damage that way. You speak of Blissey being a God, yet this is the only thing you have to take it down. You're lacking physical attackers on this team. :/ With Mamo as your lead, the chances of him dying quickly (for reasons stated above) are pretty high, and if Heracross were to die, you'd lose all you chances of dealing damage to a Blissey yourself. :/

    Spiritomb@ Leftovers
    Nature: Careful
    Evs: 252 HP / 140 Atk / 116 SpD
    Move set:
    - Sucker Punch
    - Pursuit
    - Pain Split
    - Will-O-Wisp

Spiritomb can take hits from physical and special attacks. It takes physical attacks even better with WOW. Taunt is for Pokémon that come in and try to set up and also makes them attack which allows sucker punch to hit (unless they switch).Pain split if your low on hp. I should also note that Spiritomb makes quick work of Gengar, Alakazam, and many other ghost and psychic types.

Pursuit is better option over Taunt. Taunt may work for a little bit, but you're still going to want a move to deal damage without having to rely on them attacking. :/

    Blissey@Leftovers
    Nature: Calm
    Trait: Natural Cure
    EVs: 252 Def / 80 SpA / 176 SpD
    ~ Wish
    ~ Protect
    ~ Ice Beam/Flamethrower
    ~ Toxic

And of course Blissey this thing is a GOD! No...it's setup fodder. Blissey is just very annoying. Seismic Toss for good damage. T-wave stuff to make them slower and for hax. Aromatherapy to support team and Soft-boiled for healing. This is walled by ghost though.

:/ Aromatherapy set is crap. It promotes setting up and it's too easy to deal with nowadays. What I suggest to replace that terribly outdated set is the Wish support set. Wish to heal others, or use wish the first turn, then protect the next to heal yourself. Toxic is to deal damage WHILE you wish it up. You won't be doing anything those two turns except wasting time and attempting to stall with this blob, but if you use Toxic, you'll be doing something as well. Now Flamethrower or Ice Beam is up to you. Flamethrower is your best bet however. :/ Helps cover Blissey.

    Magnezone@Choice Scarf
    Nature: Timid/Naive
    Trait: Magnet Pull
    EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
    ~ Thunderbolt
    ~ Hidden Power [Fire]
    ~ Flash Canon
    ~ Explosion/Signal Beam

Great for stopping your Scizor/Luke weakness. They can't escape once he switches in, and HP Fire can take them down easily. If you run Explosion, use Naive, if you run Signal Beam, run Timid. Now, I suggested this guy to HELP Zapdos. But now, since they provide nearly equal coverage, I'd suggest this guy over Zapdos. It still helps the rest of your team regardless, so it could be a great addition.

Another note is that you should replace something (special attacker) with a different physical sweepers. You're too special based.

    I hope this helps. :/ It's been a while since I've done a full-rate and I hope that I did ok.

First I really like Mamoswine and it has proved to be very useful I have never come across a lead jirichi yet so I think Im gonna keep it.I will change ice fang to stealth rock though. For Zapdos ok so you think I should switch it for Magnzone or keep Zapdos and use Magnzone along with it?So I should switch Shaymin for another physical attacker? What do you think would be another good physical attacker to have.I thought I should have put pursiut on spiritomb just was not to sure about it.As for Blissey I really like it but I said it was a god to get poeple in here but thats another story. Is aromatherpy really that bad?And last for Heracross that sounds good I will go with that. Thanks for the help by the way I guess I really needed it lol.

I agree with the addition of Magnezone to the team, especially when you're using a lead Mamoswine and a bunch of pokemon of are gonne get killed by Bullet Punch. Magnezone is a cool surprise for scarfed Jirachi locked in Iron Head (just make sure your Magnezone is -sp.def nature and not -def).

However, I disagree with changing the Blissey set entirely. Heatran is a huge problem for him, especially scarfed, and the standard Blissey can't do anything to it. Seismic Toss is a keeper, you could forego Aromatherapy for Ice Beam - without any steels here you really dislike dragons, also curing Heracross' Guts seems dumb. Use the EV spread suggested.

I suggest bulky Rotom over Spiritomb.

So you think I should get rid of aromatherpy for ice beam and keep siesmic toss, softboiled and t-wave(or toxic) . For Rotom I have pearl so does that mean I cant use the rotom forms on it?I never really understood how that worked or do you mean the normal rotom?Sorry im just confused.

I suggest replacing Shaymin with Swampert then.

    Swampert@Leftovers
    Nature: Impish
    Trait: Torrent
    EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 Def
    ~ Earthquake
    ~ Waterfall
    ~ Avalanche
    ~ Roar

Swampert could be a great addition to your team. He could help out on that Heatran weak thing that was mentioned above (as he resists a Fire Blast). Also, you could phaze people out with this set. He's pretty bulky and countered by so little that he could help. He's also a physical threat, so that should help your team out.
*Metalkid's Damage Calculator isn't working right now, so I'm not sure how much Swampert can take of a Heatran Fire Blast...*

Phazing is important if you have Blissey. :)

There's probably some things that I've overlooked, but I think he'd be a great addition.

Also, Syoran, his Blissey set was honestly really terrible. >.< (Sorry, but it was) Wish support will be good for your team due to the lack of reliable healing moves.

mkay so if swampert takes care of heatan problem I can go for the wish set on blissey I guess that works

Let's not get too hyperbolic here lol. Aromatherapy is by no means unusable, and frankly, Blissey is easy to set up on either way. Without seismic Toss, you're using Blissey's below average Special Attack to launch unSTABed attacks against a switch-in that you're only hoping is weak to her attack, as it won't be doing any damage otherwise. The truth of the matter is that every Blissey is easy to deal with and easy to set up on. That's just how Blissey is. Its moveset and EV spread are pretty flexible...probably because Blissey is one of the most stable Pokemon in the game.

I agree with more with Sya on this one, especially since Mamoswine dying early means that Dragons just own this team for the most part. Ice Beam >>> Aromatherapy is nice, though it doesn't solve your problems. It does, however, give you a chance to hit them switching in so that they are killed off before they can attack.

Also, if you use Swampert, MixPert is usually much better than Physical Swampert, which is just way too easy to wall, and it's rather susceptible to Intimidate and anything with any kind of physical bulk. Swampert has problems with HP Grass and Sub + Toxic versions of Heatran though, so relying on it alone to beat it is pretty unwise.

So maybe I should get rid of blissey(or spiritomb) and get a steel type to handle dragons? If I do keep Blissey I should keep seismic toss and use the wish set(get rid of protect maybe)? .I do have a mixpert which I was gonna use instead of a physical one he metioned(I didnt want to go through the hassle of getting another one lol).

I knew I overlooked something. Yeah. Go with Mixpert...I just would never use one myself which is why I just kind of passed it up. D:

In my original post, I did poke fun at Aromatherapy set, however in that quote I didn't. I was mainly speaking of his EV spreads for his Blissey. natedogg, I don't think it's a great idea to max out Blissey's HP. Sure it's appealing to have that whopping 700+ health under your belt, but she already has so much HP that it's unneeded. It's more important to focus on her defenses.

Now if you want to use that set, here's what you should do (unless someone wants to disagree with me) :

    Blissey@Leftovers
    Nature: Bold
    Trait: Natural Cure
    EVs: 148 HP / 252 Def / 108 SpA
    ~ Thunder Wave
    ~ Seismic Toss
    ~ Ice Beam
    ~ Softboiled

Since Seismic toss does 100 damage guaranteed (assuming you're playing at level 100), Atk EVs aren't needed.

alright then that looks good so i guess i have my team now I just have to go get some pokes thanks for the help guys any more suggestions are welcome.

The Focus Sash on Mamoswine is not that great to be honest. Mamoswine is pretty bulky and you aren't really needing the extra turn anyway. Use Stealth Rock>>Ice Fang and keep the sash so you are guaranteed rocks.

Psychic and Rest on the Shaymin look really out of place here, especially with no Sleep Talk so you aren't setup fodder. I have no experience with Shaymin so I don't know what yo should do instead.

Use the choice band>>life orb on Hera. It really does grant a lot of power that is really needed.

Flamethrower>>Aroma so you don't cure the Guts on Hera and can't damage Gengar, Mismag etc.

Just a few nitpicks here and there.
