Now that the 5th Generation is offically announced I'm almost ready to my bottom dollar than R/S will be remade during this new Generation.

What do you want to see in Hoenn remakes? I personally would like elements of Emerald blended in.
(Oh and the names in the title are just what I think they should be called, nothing official)

I don't see Nintendo using the word Bloody in a Pokemon title, but that's just me. Maybe SunRuby and RainSapphire (to play off the whole "Groudon makes everything sunny, Kyogre makes it rain" theme)? Or maybe even MagmaRuby and AquaSapphire to play off of the Team names in each version?

As far as the actual game, I don't know what I'd like to see in it... for some reason, it feels too soon for a R/S/E remake, idk why. In a few years, it might feel different, I mean they DID come out seven years ago already (good lord, I feel old o_o)

I have a feeling the game itself would be Emerald-esque in storyline, but focus on each game's mascot instead. Maybe add Rayquaza into the story itself, but make him uncatchable until after you defeat the E4.

I don't see a R/S remake until 2012/3, just that 10 Year Anniversary rule also HG/SS came out a few years after D/P.

true dat. and it (hopefully) will be on the 3ds. the titles cant be complex english words, as it is a game from japan. i like the sun and rain idea. but they dont necessarily need to make sense. i mean wat was with heart and soul? it was pretty irrelevant to gold and silver, though it does sound cool.
wat i would like to see is the night/day implemented. it would be so nice to go through Hoenn at night! and it was kinda silly that they didnt include it considering they had it in gsc. the return of secret bases would be mad too.

I'd assume there would be some kind of remake, but not for a few years anyway. As for the name, I'd say anything is on the table at this point.

That "rule" only happened once, with HG/SS. FR/LG were released well before their original's 10th aniversary but considering the fact that B&W will be out probably in Spring 2011 here in the States 2012/13 may be an early estimate.
