Before anyone goes "Why Last Will"?

The ruling states that you can activate Last Will AFTER a monster has been destroyed and get it's effect. So basically every monster can now act like a searcher. Something like that anyway. Its a nice response to a Sakuretsu Armor or something like that.

Think of Zaborg-Airknight... you may want zaborg because it's a fine way to get rid of jinzo. In this deck, only 5 cards are available to get rid of Jinzo, and it doesn't hurt to have more. Airknight is -1 if it got no draw. Zaborg always guarantees a 1-1 minimum and possibly more depending on battle as well.

If you're using blowback, then abuse it with DDV, which is all they're meant for in the meantime. Take out 1 Sakuretsu as DDV is a monster removal in its own right and add 2 DDV. If you hate the idea of 41 cards instead of 40, you may have to sacrifice your tech RftDD. RftDD seems rather a huge gamble because it's all dependent on chaos sorcerer and your DDWL (Doubt that opponent's Nobleman will send anything strong out of play anyway.) It's also a bad draw if it comes early too... up to you on the RftDD.

I don't think Last WIll works like that...

"You don't select a monster as a target when you activate or resolve "Last Will". "Last Will" creates a state whereby, the next time during that turn when your monster is sent from your side of the field to your Graveyard, you may Special Summon 1 monster from your Deck using "Last Will's" state. "Last Will's" state then ends."
Seems like your monsters *must* be destroyed/tributed off after you use Last Will already in order to search.

Yay, I'm good. I knew someone would question my Last Will knowledge.

    LAST WILL

You can activate "Last Will" before or after a monster is sent to the Graveyard, and still get the effect of "Last Will" to Special Summon a monster.

You can choose the timing for when you Special Summon for the effect of "Last Will". You can Special Summon the monster at any time during your turn, except during damage calculation. You do not have to Special Summon the monster at the point the first monster was sent to the Graveyard. If you activated "Last Will" after a monster was sent to the Graveyard, you do not have to Special Summon the monster when "Last Will" resolves.

If you wish, you may Special Summon the monster immediately after "Last Will" resolves (if activated after a monster was destroyed), or when the first monster is sent to the Graveyard (if "Last Will" was activated before the monster was destroyed). But you don't have to, you can do it later.

For example, if your monster is destroyed by battle, and you activate "Last Will" during Main Phase 2, you can Special Summon a monster at that time. Or you can wait and Special Summon during the End Phase.

Hello new part of the rulings page.

The card has been errata'd. This is the new card text.

The new text (as listed on the errata page) is as follows:
"If a monster on your side of the field was sent to your Graveyard this turn,
you can Special Summon 1 monster with an ATK of 1500 points or less from
your Deck once during this turn. Then shuffle your Deck."

    Now on to some reasoning.

Zaborg always guarantees a 1-1 minimum and possibly more depending on battle as well.

Zaborg is situational as heck. If you decide that it's a good idea to drop him and your opponent has zero creatures, he's gonna wail on something of yours. And Airknight gets +2 with every battle, as opposed to +1. Also, Jinzo hasnt seen much use in forever, people are tired of losing it to a Snatch Steal or otherwise and not being to do anything about it.

If you're using blowback, then abuse it with DDV, which is all they're meant for in the meantime.

You underestimate the infinite advantage of blowback dragon...If all he was good for was DDV, then I wouldnt use him. Ever. He's a possible +1 with effect, versatile with what he can kill and also a solid 2300 attack. And its DARK. 'S got everything going for it.

    Current changes to build:
    -1 RfTDD
    +1 Deck Devastation Virus

I see you on the tech rftdd. 'S not quite as useful as I thought. But 2 DDVs in a deck not built to abuse it, thats a bad idea.

(YAY) Hello, fellow Blowback user. It's about time someone else showed up who uses that card...

DDV actually goes rather well, especially with Chaos Sorcerer--remove the powerhouse from the field, then use DDV to get rid of the little flip-effects that CS can't handle.

Yeah, Frostweaver, he's right about Last Will. That's old news...

But why only one?? That risks losing it too much...even the Magician of Faiths don't help too much. You might want to get something to let you recycle the MoFs, like Tsukuyomi.

    -1 Blade Knight (?) /Magical Merchant /w-e
    +1 Tsukuyomi

2 Sakuretsus, 1 Widespread Ruin, Mirror Force, & 2 BTHs is a tad too much monster destruction in your traps IMO. You should get rid of one of them. If I were to choose, I'd pick the Widespread Ruin. As for what to put in...

    SECOND COIN TOSS!!!!

...Just kidding. Seriously, you might want to try Magic Cylinder.

    Monster Removal > Attack Prevention x 10...

Magic Cylinder has got to be one of the most useless traps of all time..I dont even know why its restricted anymore..

If I was gonna lose the ruin for anything, it'd be another DDV, but with only 4 targets that wouldnt be smart.
