Hey, I've been playing my platinum again recently and have been trying to breed both Hypnosis and Mirror Coat into a Feebas but for some reason I can only get one of them. Can anyone help me? Please!

You should look up Feebas up on Bulbapedia, scroll down to "Learnset" and "Moves learned by breeding" and that should show you which moves it can learn and who the father must be.

Apparently Hypnosis and Mirror Coat is pretty impossible to get on the same set, unless either of them are a tutor move or something, seeing as no parents can apparently learn both Mirror Coat and Hypnosis. Considering how it isn't in the Ground Egg Group (Smeargle) it is kind of hard to circumvent this as well. I guess you'll just have to pick the one you think will matter most to you.

@Pokemon Gamer Fan: That won't help because I've already bred the moves into two separate Feebas but when I breed the two Feebas my eggs only have one of the two moves.

@Opposite Day: Thanks, it seems like that's my only option cause I've bred over 20 eggs to no avail.

Breeding two Pokemon of the same species that both know an Egg Move won't yield a baby with BOTH egg moves, for future reference :)

Personally, Milotic has a superb Sp.Def stat, so Mirror Coat is the better choice.

Please use a Q&A thread next time.
