2nd Gen Breeding

I started crystal again, is breeding as good as breeding on Diamond?
Or is breeding not worth the hassle :S

Breeding is slightly less significant since you don't have to worry about getting the right natures or abilities. Also, you can't speed up the hatching process with a Pokemon with Magma Armor or Flame Body like you could in D/P/Pt. However, Egg moves and optimal IVs still should be taken into consideration. While not as vital in D/P/Pt, breeding is still desirable for getting good Pokemon in G/S/C.

Sadly, the chance of finding someone who could beat my normal pokemon is very slim. Otherwise I would of bred all the time.

A little known fact - you can breed to get shinies. It's VERY significant if you're a collector. ^_^

yea on GSC shiny breeding was easy, one shiny parents greatly increased your chances for a shiny baby...there is a glitch using the time capsule, you can trade a shiny from GSc to RBY and use it to battle a wild ditto there let it transform then catch it and trade it back to GSC and it will be a shiny ditto...So yea if you just like to play the games for old times sake not worth the time, but if you like to collect rare pokemon in old games it is a good way to do it.
