So how do I get the best moves out of two pokemon that I breed together? I never quite understood the whole supreme breeding process.

Say for example you want to breed a Sneasle (female) and an Empoleon (male). Lets say that Empoleon knows Surf. When they produce an egg, theres a chance that the egg will be born with a move known by the male (ONLY THE MALE, i think). So by the end, you have a sneasle with 3 moves, and it knows surf. (The eggs will always be whatever the female is, and all moves learned wil be from the male)

So if you want to teach a baby AWESOME moves, teach them to the male first, before you drop them off at the baby-sitters, aka a Love Hotel. I got a pichu that new Volt Tackle, Thunder, QuickAttack, and Rain Dance through this

I don't understand something from this what you said, if all the moves are from male and a Pokemon which will hatch is the same as female, how come when you breed let's say for an example Pikachu (female) and Ditto which has no gender, the Pokemon will be Pikachu, but what moves will be?

Probably from the Pikachu since it's the main source of DNA for the egg.

I mean if you think about it the Ditto really doesn't have any DNA it's just providing the other half as a sort of "copy DNA." Therefore it wouldn't give any moves to the spawn pokemon, and the Pikachu would have all the parent Pikachu's moves.

i meant that the egg will be whatever the female is, and the moves inherited will be from the male. Not all moves are egg moves, so for example if the male pikachu knows volt tackle, and its not holding the Light ball (i think its only for females, idk) the pichu wont know Volt Tackle
