    me and my mate today were having a debate about the colour of brocks skin (kinda sad)
    now i want to settle this
    what colour is brocks skin tanned or black(not ment to be racist in any way)
    i think its tanned what do you think? :\ :\ :\
     
    I don't think I've seen more than one black person throughout my entire knowledge of anime shows. So I'd bet my money on him not being black. He probably just wouldn't look good if he had a lighter complexion.
     
    There's a few anime shows that have blacks in them. (One of the Dragonball seasons was an example, I think.) *shrug*

    Anyways, I'd say he's just got tan skin. Maybe I'm stereotyping, but his complexion seems a bit too light for him to actually be black.

    Well i think his skin is black , but like Thales from DBZ movie 3 , his skin color is rather confusing :\

    Ruther more look at the sister sister characters , the main female characters are black and aren't so much black like general black from Dragon Ball

    I like black people more (so i'm not a racist) , since Cyborg from Teen Tytans looks like my tall school frend and bodyguard furthermore i imagen my big brother , Evil Thales who is 100% a black person (Rather than the original Thales is NOT Black , or maybe he is :\)

    It's probably tanned. We all know anime blacks have to have gigantic pink lips instead of just being darker, because we all know black people have HUGE lips.

    And I'm black myself, so don't get all irritated at my post. It's a joke.

    Kinda how the East stereotyped Asians as having large eyes? Japan isn't a diverse place, chances are if you live in Japan you're Japanese...So the misinterpretation happens a lot.
     
    Well I am not being racist but in the anime Brocks father is coloured and his mother is white which would make him half-cast, which is neither coloured or white. Because I saw the special for Brock yesteday when you see his mother and she is white. So he is neither coloured or white ^^:.

    Sorry if that sounds racist, if so I will delete it.

    Don't worry about it, the post is fine.

    His mother is just a light Japanese person, there are tan skinned and light skinned Japanese.
     
    He is part Asian and seems to be part Black from his Dad...But yeah he may be a half-Cast like myself.^^;;.
     
    Asian. The spiky hair style and slit eyes are a dead giveaway. o_o; His skin is tanned. If he were black, it'd be painfully obvious seeing as most black people in anime are drawn with charcoal black or dark brown skin. Takeshi has a light brown tint. Thus nulling him being black. If you want black, look at Rougela before she turned purple. >_>;
     
    Hmmm... I just don't picture him as an African...then again... I really don't place him in any race really.. maybe's he's asian... his eyes do make him look so...but that may have also been done jsut to set him apart. I don't really think about it all that much...
