Will his Team Improve?(IT BETTER!!!!Brock needs an improvement!!)
hears what I think in a battle vs Saturns toxicroak Croagunk will evolve and will catch a gible or rhyhorn (Due to rhypeherior)

    So..What do you think?

Well, Brock isn't much of a battler, so I guess that's the reason why the writers never gave Brock much Pokemon. That is why I believe that he is not going to catch much Pokemon in Sinnoh either.
He never has caught much Pokemon compared to May or Misty, now that I think about it. Only Tracey has caught less (Scyther).

As much as a find it annoying as hell to see Brock-falling-for-every-girl part in most of the episodes: "hate" is a rather big word if you'd ask me.

I find it VERY annoying Brock doesn't catch pokemon, he seems the oldest and wisest. So he should look out for the others, provice some sense of security. How can he do that with three measly little pokemon. The thing that also bothers me is that he was once a GYMLEADER. They have to be very good at battling, but look at what Brock has been reduced to.

Anyways, I think he should catch more pokemon. As for what kind of pokemon, it seems Brock has gone from rock to water to just random types. Since Brock is a breeder he should get a few eggs that will actually help him out. Like for example, in Platinum version Cynthia hands out a Togepi egg, what if Brock were to get a Togepi egg in the anime and evolves into Togekiss. Or something along those lines.

I like Brock, to be honest. If he caught more Pokémon, he'd upstage Ash. He's a Breeder, and prefers to develop those he has than catch as many as he can. He is clearly smarter than Ash, for instance the way he caught his Zubat. He knew Charmander would be best with Ash, look at it now. He caught Pineco oddly.. but still took it on. Ludicolo was well trained, as well as Mudkip. Not to mention Onix and Crobat. Brock as I said, trains his Pokémon by taking good care of them, he clearly is more about nurturing Pokémon rather than battling them. He could of had Stantler, but knew it'd be better off with it's mother. Thinking about it, Brock has had a decent amount of Pokémon and they've all turned out quite good.

From the top of my head.

    - Onix (Evolved to Steelix with care of Forest)
    - Geodude
    - Zubat (Now a Crobat, under Brocks care)
    - Vulpix (A great Pokémon for Brock, and showed Brock's great nature be giving it back)
    - Mudkip (Now a Marshtomp, I rate him quite highly)
    - Lombre (Now a Ludicolo, trained really well, not really a battling Pokémon now though)
    - Pineco
    - Bonsly (Now a Suduwodo)
    - Happini

I believe that's all the Pokémon he's owned. I don't know much about Sudowudo and Happini, but two Pokémon clearly great for Brock due to his Rock-Type preference and healing nature like Happini. I suspect when Brock leaves the show, he'll open some sort of breeding center with Happini a Blissey.

I find a Rhyhorn wouldn't suit Brock. I think he'll leave at the end of the series, I believe it'd be good if he does and he goes his own way. It could be good for both parties (Ash & Brock) and good for the show. It seems right.

Edit: Just remembered Pineco evolved and he has a Croagunk. Bare with me there :P

maybe your right but brock really pisses me off
    EDIT:His team not brock himself

Brock in the sinnoh saga SUCKS!!!!!!

XDD I just found that so funny.

They probably don't give him very much Pokemon because the writers know that they won't be using him for battles as much as Ash or Dawn. In Hoenn, he got one of the starters, Mudkip, and I think Chimchar with Paul actually got more screentime than Mudkip with Brock, even though Brock is in every episode. I think it's better that he gets a few Pokemon, so we can actually see those few Pokemon more rather than him have 6 and we see each individual Pokemon even less.

    He definetly needs different pokemon.

I miss his old team of zubat, geodude, onix, and vulpix.

Brock is going to catch something before the end of Sinnoh, he just has to. After that, they'll go back to Johto and Happiny will evolve into Blissey :3
Evolve into a Chansey maybe, to give Brock the opportunity to show off to nurse Joy. Like: "Look, nurse Joy, I have a Chansey too, doesn't that amaze you?". But I don't see it evolving into Blissey too. Most pokemon that evolved twice in the series ended up bad, e.g. Dawn's Mamoswine, Ash's Charizard (in the begining, at least).

I like this post. I agree as well. Takeshi develops his Pokémon instead of battling with them because he's a breeder and wants to take care of his Pokémon.

There was Pidegeot but the idiot let him go as soon as it evolved and I think Crobat came out good but Brock doesn't use him -_-

Butterfree, Beautifly, Dustox, Sceptile, Blaziken and Staraptor didn't end up bad, either.

He might catch another pokemon before the season is over. I hope.

they might let him catch more pokemon before they go to wherever they're going next but I doubt it. seeing as the series is focused on Ash, they kinda let the other characters fall to the wayside
