    Anyone here drink bubble tea?

If not, you are missing out on a treat! It's originally made with tapioca pearls, but I prefer to get raspberry-apple with passionfruit jelly. Mmmmm....then I order some Tariyaki chicken with sticky rice...*starts drooling*

I'm just bored and making a random topic since I went out tonight with a couple of anime lovers (crazy friends of mine) to a place called "Bubble Tease". They play j-pop in the place! *dances*

Bubble tea is just too good to be true!

No, I can't say I do. I do drink hot tea, iced tea, lemon tea, lime tea, lemon lime tea, lime lemon tea, raspberry tea, tea, and chinese lemon lime tea.

It's soooo good! Normally all the anime freaks in my area go to the University plaza and drink it, and get some good japanese eats! ^_^

It's not really tea, I don't think anyway, it's more like a fruit drink with these weird fruit jelly things that you suck up through a big straw and get this yummy flavor along with the juice.

They have green tea, too...but I'm not a big fan...

I have seen those little jelly-ish snacks. They're asian, and flourescent, and have fruit in the middle. Is it similar?

All I can think of are those strange 'Orbits' drinks. Hmmm...flourescent...that's interesting...and snacks you say? I dunno! I've had a japanese snack called "Ball". These little peanut butter/waffer/ballish type candy thing...they were tasty...

But I think bubble tea is just in restraunts, or separatley owned businesess. All the places I have been have all been owned by asisan families...and suprisingly it stems back in history a fair ways too! So it's not really a new thing, it's just something that is a little rare, so it dosen't suprise me if a handful here knew what I was talking about!

    ^_^

Oh, I remember Orbit drinks! They aren't really good though. Well, the last one I had was in '99, and if I remember correctly, it was soda. I think...All I can think of is the clearness and the yellow balls in it. I remember I left mine in the refrigerator for months, lol. But, no, that's not what I was talkign about.

There were these little snacks, similar to Jell-o, but in a way smaller container. They were usually bright colors, like reds and greens, and had fruit in the middle. They were asian, too. I haven't seen one in a while, though.
