I would pay for that one of david tennant. That is remarkable. What lovely pieces here, very talented =)

Problem with amateur art is that people wouldn't be willing to pay for the cost involved.

Al the same, I love doing it and spreading it about. My mate's paid me £30 to knock this one up. My favourite so far:

    Woah great stuff!
I really love the little creature with the tie!
I'd pay for one of those shirts...
May I ask how you do these? Do you draw them and cut them out to make a stencil on cardboard then spraypaint over the stencil?

Yeah, that's pretty much spot on.

I use a spray glue on to the stencil to make sure that I get a nice clean line round the edges.

The t-shirts are a similar idea, except I roll a special ink onto them. Then iron over to "heat set" it, so it can be washed.

I've actually had quite a few people asking about that t-shirt, so I'm thinking of doing a small run of 10 or so. Would be about £15 I should think since the ink is quite expensive.

Did this one for a mate, it's our favourite football player. Icelandic international, used to play for our home town club Peterborough United.

Well you are a great drawer!
I have to try this some time maybe next holidays...
How long does it take you just to do the drawing part?

Not too long since you don't have to worry about details with it being limited to just 4/5 colours, and fine details are necessary. For some of them I just manipulate a image on the computer using photoshop, then print out 5 copies, and cut from them. The hard bit is lining up each layer.

If you need any help let us knpw, at the very least i can send you some links.

    Okai nice!
I'd love some links but first I have another question.
When you glue the sheets to the canvas, how do you get it off without ruining the painting?
And finally, what is the overall expense for a single painting? With paint, canvas, spray cans, glue etc. (If you don't want to answer it that's fine as it is your personal life sorta..)

    Ok:
Once I've cut out a layer of the stencil, I spray some adhesive on the back, wait for it to dry a little bit, then place down carefully onto the canvas.

Then spray a thin coat of paint over the stencil. If it isn't enough to cover the previous coat, then wait for it to dry, and do another coat of paint (no need to remove the stencil in between). it's far better to do 2 thin layers, than 1 bi wet one.

For the next stencil layer, wait for the previous one to dry, or else the adhesive will peel the previous layer off one removing the stencil.

I always buy cheap canvas', but only because I'm just starting. They cost about £5, at most £10.

The adhesive spray is expensive. £10 for a large can, £7 for a smaller one. But they last for ages.

the paint costs about £5-£10 for a can, but will obviously last for several stencils.

If I were doing 4 canvas's, I would spend £20 on them, perhaps another £15 on paint, and would need about half a can of adhesive. So an average of £12 each i guess?
