Building an Emerald Team (BF)

So, i'm back playing poke'mon again and i've decided to try and make a nice team, This will be the 2nd time i trained EVs on a pokemon, but that's easy.
Heres what i ws thinking for a nice new team.

Bashful/Impish- Lightningrod (going to be for double battles in the battle frontier)

Keep in mind that i do not have any more EQ tms in my games that i know of right now. I posted this here, and this team is subject to change, and will be used in the battle frontier.Which ones should i team up for double battles etc. I want to beat the battle frontier or at least nail it down because i stink at it and only have 4 BP's (only ever had 4BP's max) so will somebody help me? BTW, i hate breeding because of the toiling process of taking like 5 minutes to get an egg hatched in the town on Mauville or anywhere else. so don't flame me because i havn't even did ev's before except for ampharos.If you know any other great poke'mon for my 6th spots or anywhere else, please tell me and i may use it.

Stopped when I saw rock head Salamence. I'm not big on helping hacked pokemon get better :/

Salamence is not hacked.Actually, it's my bagon he has rock head right now, will he loose rock head when he evolves? i didn't know, sorry, i don't hack at all, i'm a good boy :) and thanks for the nice movesets, they look pretty good.

Oh hey Anti hes right, the Bagon ditches Rock Head. So Im not a 3rd Gen expert, but Blissey for the last spot.

yeah skarmbliss is overpowered in the third generation you should try to abuse it.

yeah skarmbliss is overpowered in the third generation you should try to abuse it.

Magtrio "rapes" Skarmbliss, and really bad, in 3rd generation. No Shed Shells, and dugtrio was better in ADV with physical HP Bug to WASTE celebi. Really, skarmbliss is horribly easy to counter in ADV. Harder than now, but still very beatable. Being a SkarmBliss user myself, I can tell you that there comes a disadvantage in using them as well.

BTW, Mence has Intimidate, post the final ability next time :P But since you don't hack, I might as well finish where I left off. I'll edit that first post I made with the rest of the sets.

But before I do that, you'll want to Add a few tanks and definitely a hazer. In the Battle Frontier, you WILL get haxed so you'll want something to haze double team using pokemon.

Breloom is a great choice for Battle Frontier though, the sopre puncher will obliterate all that doesn't resist (Gengar basically) with ease.

EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Spore
- Focus Punch
- Substitute
- Return / Leech Seed

Basic BF Breloom set-up, best paired with a speedy attacker that beats up poison types and also gengar. The best by far is:

Alakazam @ Leftovers
Trait: Synchronize
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Spd / 252 SAtk
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Psychic
- Encore / Ice Punch
- Calm Mind / Thunderpunch
- Fire Punch

EncoreZam works great here. If you aren't confident you can run that set well though or whatever, just use the all-out attacker. Otheriwse, use CM and Encore to annoy rain dancers and other set-up pokemon. Very effective.

In the last slot, you'll want something that can take on the heavy hitters like Swampert and Metagross that are either tough to stop, or they stop you, or both.

Blissey @ Leftovers
Trait: Natural Cure
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SDef
Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Thunder Wave
- Softboiled
- Seismic Toss
- Ice Beam

Works very nicely. If getting blissey is too much of a pain and you're lucky enough to have feebas, I recommend:

Milotic @ Leftovers
Trait: Marvel Scale
EVs: 252 HP / 188 Def / 68 SAtk
Calm Nature (+SDef, -Atk)
- Recover
- Toxic
- Surf
- Ice Beam

This is also nice to use.

Or you can go to Smgoon and copy Jumpman's team :P lol

EDIT: BTW, Skarmbliss is the walling duo of Skarmory and Blissey to wall physical attacks and special attacks, respectively.
