Apparently "blue" and "type 2" don't work together. Like seriously, blue sucks right now. Going budget on blue means serious weakness.

    Land
    23 island

    Creatures
    4 Spire Golem
    3 Arcbound Stinger
    4 Somber Hoverguard
    3 Qumulox
    1 Hoverguard Observer
    2 quicksilver Behemoth
    2 Wizard Replica

    Spells
    2 Aether Vial
    2 aether Spellbomb
    4 Vulshok Morningstar
    2 Leonin Scimitar
    1 Weilding Jar
    1 Viridian Longbow
    2 Skullcage
    4 Condescend

Basically this deck wants to attack quickly with its flyers. And by the time your opponent drops their threats and built their defenses, you should be able to finish them off with skullcages. As you can see, there's a lot of affinity in there, since it's the only thing that blue has. Strangely enough, the equipment helps against red (look! you can't shock my hoverguard because of the scimitar! XD)

    Adding power/money to the deck:
Okay. You have the basis for vial affinity in there. Have fun with platings.

Vedalken Shackles: This is like MVP or something in this I played it in my blue budget deck (mod to add some rares in there) and the shackles just ate up the competition and allowed me to finish my opponents off without the skullcages.

Counterspell: Sue me. It's the best you can use in this deck here (I don't recommend the 20 dollar force of will tho.)

Chromescale Drake: Where else can you put this poor guy? Seriously, give this guy the respect he should at least have! Put him in a deck somewhere! So I gave in and put him in. Not bad, but it's only good if you actualyl get to draw something tho (3/4 beatstick? No way it's that good).

Ravager: Eat it! EAT IT! I'd rather buy force of will than ravager...

Affinity cards in general: oh well, you've got the basis for affinity, as I said...
