    Manly tears were shed.

    How did you feel about this episode, frankly, I cried. I still feel pathetic to this day, but I swear, it bothers me, and is definetly a memory of my childhood.
     
    Ah, brings back memories of me sitting on the living couch whenever it was on, not being able to see the end credits because I am crying too hard ):

    It seems to me that this is what makes most people cry the most! I still cry when I see it (it doesn't embarrass me, and it shouldn't embarrass you, either) and some of the adult people on this site still admit to spilling tears over it!

    I've felt really sad when Butterfree left. When I saw it crying while it's flying away, that got me to never get rid of my Butterfree in the games. And yes, that episode when Misty released Togetic got me.
     
    can someone tell me what episode misty comes in because i wanted to watch it but i never found it, and when she lets her togetic go thank you
     
    Butterfree was always my favorite Pokemon, except for Charizard (yes, even ahead of Pikachu). Butterfree seemed like he always wanted to make Ash happy, always trying hard, never sure of himself... 'twas a very sad day when he left.
     
    i loved that episode. it brings so many memories back whenever i watch it.. like me pretending to be Ash -.-
    Butterfree was a amazing pokemon, even though Ash only had it for a short time..
     
    I cried so hard, but I was, like, five, so the crying was expected.
     
    Seemed much like any other episode to me, Ash's voice narms everything.

    Something that has been niggling me since though, is did it ever come back?
