Camui Gackt

I was wondering if anyone else was a fan of the JRock singer Camui Gackt.

If you are not a fan or are one of those "I hate that girl." Please refrain from posting in this thread. Don't promote hate. (No Gackt is not a girl, he just gets called that a lot by people who don't know him or hate him for whatever strange reason.)

I myself am quite obsessed with him. I first fell in love with his handsome and seductive voice, and when I looked him up in an image search I wasn't disappointed. I have over 200 pictures of him saved to my memory stick as well as some videos from Google, and 5 CD's (Mars, Rebirth, Moon, Cresent, and Love Letter).

So, what I want to ask everyone here is:

What is your favorite song by Gackt, and do you like his looks better than his music.

Right now I'm listening to Dubuk from Cresent, it makes me happy, but aside that the entire Mars album makes me full of joy. Vanilla and U+K are great, right?! Nyan nyan!

Gackt is nice to look at, creativity wise, and he has awesome outfits and such..
but I'm not too into his music... I like Illness Illusion, and one other, and thats about
all she wrote for that one.

He's a pretty good singer, wish he could branch out into other styles since sometimes his songs sound too alike. My favorite song from him would be Mind Forest.

While I do agree that some of his songs do sound alike, I must admit I'm not very phased by it.

In fact that's part of what makes me stick around for him. I like his style, and whenever he adds something new, I like that too, but generally I'm very happy when things are similar because they're already good.

On the other hand, Gackt can be kinda' random with some of his songs, he'll throw something extra that just makes you go all confused and happy at the same time...

So, I don't know where I am with him I guess. I suppose he'll have to do something that makes me unhappy with him in order for me to see something I don't like, because for now I really do like everything he's done so far.

Does that make any sense? I could be posting this too early, when my mind isn't quite awake...

I am suddenly reminded of another question I've been wanting to ask:

Do you like Gackt better now, or when he was with Malice Mizer? I have no real opinion on this myself, considering I don't own anything by MM, and I've really only heard one small clip of a song... I do have an interest in Malice Mizer though, not only because of Gackt, but because I like the bit of song I heard. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for the first CD I should get in order to fully get into that band.

Additionally, recommendations for other JRock music that I might enjoy can also be given... I'd offer the same to other people, but I don't really listen to anything besides Gackt - at least in CD form... I do listen to Japan-a-radio, whenever my iTunes thing is working properly that is.

I must say I prefered gackt with mailice mizer,he's pretty amazing bye himself(I loved vannila) but MM is my favorite j-rock group ever....
