5th Gen Can I get caught?

sorry if wrong section.

so my buddy gave me some items he made from pokegts.us or some site like that. there's a tournament in va in a couple of months. it says we can't use items that we didn't obtain from playing the game. if i were to put the items on my pokemon and play with them, there's no way they can see that i got them illegally, right? like if they see i have no history of playing battle tower, i could just tell them i got them from another game?

If it's hacked they'll most likely be able to check, since they can do that with all the Pokemon through the use of a program. They properly check the games all over and if it comes up hacked then chances are you'll be disqualified. Sure there's a chance they may not notice it but it's better to just go on the safe side and not use hacked items in case they do detect it. If the rule specifically mentions it then you can assume they'll be checking for it.

Also Black and White have a Battle Subway, not Battle Tower :( Aaannnddd use Quick Questions next time!
