4th Gen Can I leave catching Mesprit until later?

    ok im new to this so i hope im posting this in the right place, but i only need mesprit to complete my seen pokedex and move on in the game. is it ok if i see him and then not catch him until much later on in the game or will he have dissapeared by then from the poketech thing?
     
    You only need to see him.
    Mesprit will always be there unless you catch/defeat it.
     
    yeah, you can leave mesprit till later, but go to it in the cavern, get it in the dex, then do whatever. I didn't get it until after i beat the E4
     
    well... you have to catch uxie first the aself the mespirit so look on youtube and miriland can help you.:)
     
    You shouldn't rush catching Mesprit but if you go to Fullmoon Island you'll go after two pokemon then.

    It's a pain because you'll see two pokemon on your Poketch.
     
    I've not caught it yet, whenever I get near, it moves. And, when i stumble upon it by accident, I have no dusk/quick/ultra balls. D:
     
    yeah, unless you don't even feel like talking to it. Or getting one shiny. but as long as you just talk to it and let it leave, you're good.
