Question: Can staff see 'invisible' members?

I'm pretty sure I've heard this before, but yes, I'm fairly sure staff can see members on invisible mode.

Yes, thy can. Would be pretty silly if the mode made you invisible to the whole forum including staff members. =]

Nice formatting there Fabio lmao.

Sush Gav :P

But what about privacy? If a user, for example, asks you to tell them if an invisibble member is online at that time or not, are you allowed to tell them?

Well, I guess it would depend on the user who is invisible.
To begin with, if the user is invisible, he doesn't want to be seen as online by the other members, so then I guess that would answer your question.

We're allowed to tell them, but it doesn't mean we will. Most staff members respect the privacy of others. The only reason I would think a staff member tells someone if an invisible user is online is if the member is friends with the invisible user or something.

There's no rule about telling people if someone's online or not but generally it's accepted that we don't because it's rude and it's a breech of privacy. :/

Staff do have the regular rules as well as their own rules to go by, don't they?

Correct. And to state again:

There's no rule about telling people if someone's online or not but generally it's accepted that we don't because it's rude and it's a breech of privacy. :/

We obviously respect member's wishes to remain invisible. It's not like we're running around the forums telling people who's online and who's not. That would just be silly.

This is a peculiar case, everyone. I think I'm satisfied by your answers so far, let's not penetrate it any more.
