Issue: cannot connect to PokeCommunity (unless I use a Proxy)

I have not been able to get on PokeCommunity forums all day!!! www.downforeveryoneorjustme.com a website that tells you if a site is down or it is just you claims it has been up all day! I have not been able to connect to the website at all until I started using this proxy I am typing from right now!

Clear your cookies and your cache, and try another browser if that does not work. There's a lot of things that could be the issue, but whatever it is, it's most likely on your end.

As far as I'm concerned, several others had trouble getting onto PokeCommunity today. Least, I wasn't able to myself before I got home, in which it then started working. It's just something that happens every now and then; no need to make a thread about PokeCommunity going down every time it happens to you, because chances are, it's happening to others as well and the problem will be solved soon. There is no need to go through this deja vu. Just give it a little bit longer, and then try to access it without the proxy server if you still can't access it right now regularly. Also, try what Gavin suggested. It might work.

It's probably because PC happened to have came back online when you tried connecting through a proxy. Again, perhaps give it a little more time, and then see if you can access PC normally. Also try what Gavin suggested and clear your cookies and cache, and perhaps try another browser.

you need to send me a PM with a tracert (traceroute on mac/linux) from your normal connection to tPC.

STOP POSTING A THREAD IN THE CQ&F EVERY TIME YOU CAN'T CONNECT TO PC

We have connection issues. We get it. PPN knows it. Just. Stop.

apparently the CDN we use was having issues and/or being attacked.. They've cleared them for now and everyone should be able to connect again now.

If this happens again, try https://direct.pokecommunity.com first before reporting that the site is down... this will bypass the CDN and connect directly to tPC (you'll need to login again)
