4th Gen can't wait top start playing again!

    I use to play Pokemon several years ago on a gameboy colour-I had blue version, and I throughly enjoyed it.
    I live in Turkey now, so when my friends come out for a visit I normally get a bit of shopping done-so they are bring me Pokemon Diamond!!
    I have also purchased the VOl 1 prima guide-and the poxedex by prima-which I have read is really good.
    Not only that I was luck to stubble upon Emerald game and Emerald Prima gaming guide.
    I can't wait to get back into it again, I should have all my bits and pieces by about 4th April I think.
    Have I picked well??

    I have a couple of questions
    will the same two pokemon always produce the same offspring??

    can I breed using pokemon that I transfer from the Emerald game into my Diamond game??

    Is there is anything I should know before I start to play Pokemon Diamond-any advice?

    A moderator would usually tell you to post this in the quick questions and answers thread. But congrats in getting pokemon Diamond. I can gaurantee it will satisfy your pokemon hunger. As for your questions. The two same pokemon will always produce the same offspring unless you make them hold an insence. However you cannot breed legendary pokemons except Manaphy and Rotom. And yes you can breed your pokemon from Emerald in your diamond game. Same goes for Sapphire, Ruby, Fire Red and Leaf Green. Have fun with your Pokemon Diamond. Also you should think about getting the latest pokemon game Heart Gold and Soul Silver.
