Hey everyone, I've been browsing on amazon for dashcams to put in my car. I've noticed a lot of them seem the same spec wise and most are similar in design. However, the reviews are so contrasting, ranging from 5star best thing ever to 1star doesn't even work. So I want to know if any of you use a dashcam or know of any good ones(or are they really all the same) ? I'm only willing to put about $50 into it, and would prefer to get it from amazon or an established store/website. Thanks guys:) gals:)

Believe it or not, you're not alone. My father is a truckie and uses one on his travels. Once he saw somebody brake check him on purpose! And guess what, it was a p plater! But enough of that, you say that you're looking for one about $50? I would recommend the G1W, I heard it's a good one to use. Either that, or the DVR-207. Amazon is a good place to find either one of these dash cameras.
