I'm an extremely competitive person and lately pokemon battles have taken over my school. I would love to compose a team of strong pokemon as well as a team of my favorites. Here is what I have so far and would love any advice on it. My sixth pokemon is undecided.

    Meganium
    -Magical Leaf
    -Frenzy Plant
    -Hyper Beam
    -Iron Tail

    Charizard
    -Heat wave
    -Shadow Claw
    -Thunder Punch
    -Fly

    Wartortle
    -Skull Bash
    -Water Pulse
    -Surf
    -Bite

    Butterfree

    -Psychic
    -Sleep Powder
    -Dream Eater
    -Super Sonic

    Raichu
    -Hyper Beam
    -Iron Tail
    -Thunder
    -Focus Punch

Something like this belongs in the In-game section. You need to include Items, EVs natures and etc. Your team is SO mixed up, you should probably read some intro's to competitive battling then come back.

Your team is pretty balanced. Your Pokemon use a nice range of moves. I'd recommend adding a Ground-type to your team, since a lot of Trainers like to use Electric-types. Also, you might want to consider teaching some of your Pokemon Protect and Recover, since some battles may not be in your favor. Other than that, your team is decent.

You have a fairly well-balanced team, but you may want to consider making a full team (six Pokemon). The Charizard's fly is pretty useless, since Heat Wave can already take care of Bug and Grass types, and you have your Butterfree's Psychic for fighting types. I suggest replacing it with a more powerful move.
As for your Raichu and Meganium, both know Iron Tail! Trust me, your don't need that many steel moves, unless you are planning to fight a lot of rock or ice types (besides, you already have your Charizard for ice types and your Wartortle or Meganium for rock types). Maybe teach your Raichu Rain Dance to make it's Thunder 100% accurate, or teach your Meganium Synthesis for the defensive.
Also, consider evolving your Wartortle and teaching it a better move than Bite. If you want to become a competitive battler, you have a lot of work to do!
Sorry for all the negative feedback(it's just constructive criticism)! I do like your Butterfree's balance of moves. I wouldn't change a thing about that. You can torment your foes with status problems, while doing some serious damage. And since bug types are renowned to be fragile, it is a good thing you have disabling and self-recovery moves.

    You have many choices there.
If you don't like legends heres what you can get.
    Ground:Nidoking or Nidoqueen works fine.
Ghost:Gengar would be best (If you don't wanna trade I suggest maybe Drifblim Im not sure)
    Dark:Tyranitar works fine here.
Ice:Would actually have Mamoswine he's also Ground! (Froslass may also go)
So you have many picks for sixth Pokemon.
Also follow the other peoples advice....

He asked to rate his team, not pick out a new team for him

He?Either the person is a lair or you're wrong.
    Sorry I read wrong.
Anyway if I'll rate I only say that the team is undefeated too almost every types but Ghost and Electric types else you'll defeat everything easy 5/6
