[Error] Catching last shadow Pokémon does not end the battle in 17.2 (Double Battle)

I've gotten a really weird error involving shadow Pokémon specifically in double battles. If you already finished with the trainer's entire team and only have the shadow Pokémon left, if you catch it, you will be forced to choose a move instead of ending the battle and the game will pop up a "no target error".

Spoiler:

Funnily enough, after the error shows up, the game just finishes the battle and continues normally. But I didn't want to left that in because it isn't that pretty to left such an common and consistent error in that can cause some players to be hesitant to even save the game after.
