3rd Gen Catching my legendary dog?

    i was wondering what the best way of getting my entei was. i tried the"go into the guard place" trick, but it took like an hr. and like 25 repels. any better suggestions? and yes, i have the master ball

    and also, if he raors me away i can still see and capture him right? cuz i heard in a faq if he roars you away u lose him forever and cant ever encounter him again on that save file.

    Actually, it's true (except for Suicune, but it doesn't have Roar anyway).
     
    Just save your masterball for it when you run into him. It's the best way to catch him since you can save in front of any other legendary.
     
    I do this really good trick to encounter him but it takes like 3 to 4 hours sometimes i forgot wich health center to go to.....
     
    i met o my dogs at route 1 don't know why, since i started my game 7 times i still met o da dogs at route 1 intresting isn't it?

    I caught my sucicou when i was on the route beside fullicia ( i was looking for a rare poekmon around there) and then out of nowhere came suicone I quickly got out my masterball and caught it !!!!

    a good idea is to train your pokemon go to somewhere in kanto you'll be gaining levels and looking for the legendary dog at the same time :)
     
    i wonder if some1 met a legendary dog in a cave or water or even while u flying
     
    Yar on tha right track allright. Tch, make sure yar first pkmn is less or equal ta level 40 an' keep usin' those Repels. ^_-

    An additional advice: if ya wanna save up on Repels, save your game. After yar done wasting up all your Repels just restart and load. Tch, that way ya won't have ta buy Repels every time they run out. ^^;;
     
    Why not use Mean look or whatever that move is that traps the pokemon so it cant run away. Arena trap - pokemon power may also work. I dont know if it can get away by roaring you away using this method though. This just gives you more time to catch it. I dont know how you are going to find it easily, but I found it in the water once! Weird!
     
    i cant find mine anymore T_T not even on the poke dex its been a year
