I just beat the league, horray! But this had caught my attention. Champion Cynthia has a Roserade who knows Extrasensory. How is that? Can my Roserade learn that, or is it just hers?

apparently they just gave her extrasensory for fun =\
    unhacked roserades can't learn it
i've noticed that with a lot of pokemon in the game, having moves they can't normally learn through lv up, breeding, tm or tutors

That is truly unfair. I had a plan for that move, too.

Actually, Budew can learn Extrasensory as an egg move. Just breed a Roselia/Roserade with a Nuzleaf/Shiftry.

Seriously? Thats not a bad move. I guess I'll do that.

R.A.M took the words out of my mouth. Most pokemon may have unusual moves, but you're not counting egg moves as well.

Only Budew gets Extrasensory as an egg move.

Same with Munchlax and Zen Headbutt.

Thats slick. So I must have a Rose Incense then. Can it have Leaf Storm AND Extrasensory together?

why would you want leaf storm? it has low accuracy and decreases your sp.att 2 stages when it hits. energy ball is the way to go for special sweeping.

to answer your question though, yes it can(i looked into it on serebii just now). a male nuzleaf that learns extrasensory and then later learns leaf storm as shiftry will have both moves(you will need a heart scale as both moves are learned at level 49). breed it with a female roselia/roserade holding rose incense to get a budew that knows both moves.

again, i emphasize that energy ball is better, but it's your choice.

leaf storm is acceptable on roserade. with its high sp attack and STAB, it can just about hurt anything that switches in into Roserade to avoid damage.

i still prefer Energy Ball tho.
