1st Gen Change Username In Blue?

I recent;y discovered the code to catching a Mewtwo with the Missingno glitch. Is there any way possible that I can switch my player name from Blue to any name with a D in the 3rd letter, or to just change my player name in general? I don't use gameshark, but a glitch, or somewhere I can go would be helful, appreciate it...

I'm pretty sure I know of no glitch that allows you to change your name after the introduction of the game. Sorry, you would have to restart in order to do that.

But before you go selecting that "New Game" option, perhaps you should think of your save game file. Sure, you can alter the Pokemon you see on the shore of Cinnabar Island by altering your name, but would it really be worth it? Well, that's really up to you, isn't it?

There is no such glitch. Sure you can change your name....but for what? Mewtwo? you cna catch that after you beat the game anyways. If you want two mewytow's just trade it to gold/silver/crystal and use the cloning glitch. But it's your decision though......
