This is probably a longshot, but I was wondering if anyone has ever made a code or would know how to make the code to change the way the Mega Evolution toggle works in battle. Currently, it's toggled on or off by pressing the "action key" (the Z key), but I feel a much more intuitive method of controlling Mega Evolution would be to scroll to the toggle button just like you already do to chose a move. Press the up key on the top row of moves or down on the bottom to scroll over the Mega Evolution button, click it, then scroll back to the moves and make your choice.

I realize this design choice was made to emulate using the touch screen on the 3DS games to select whether or not to Mega Evolve, but I find it to be a confusing and unintuitive control scheme in Essentials' format. While the button says "Action" on it, I feel like most players aren't going to know what that means. I've changed my graphic to say "Z" instead, but even that feels somewhat unintuitive. (I also don't like referencing non-Nintendo system controls when I don't have to, as it feels like a minor immersion breaker.) Not to mention, the way the menu is set up, it feels like you should be able to scroll over it with the direction keys, leading to awkwardness when you realize you can't.

Anyone know how to make this change? Or perhaps at least point me in the right direction for how to implement it myself?
