I am completely new to hacking but I wanted to try what seems to be one of the easier aspects. I am wanting to change the trainer sprite for Gen 2 or G/S/C rather. I have found tutorials and what to do's but I am encountering an issue. I am using the Nameless Sprite Editor. I know there's also UnLZ.gba but there's more guides or tutorials for NSE. Anyways, I have my custom sprite sheet of what I want to use but NSE is having crashing issues 'cuz I can't seem to find the latest version or whichever is working and on top of that, the NSE is only for GBA roms. The Gen 2 games aren't GBA. I didn't know if it'd work but I changed the format of the Crystal rom I have to .GBA and tried that with no luck. So how do I change Gen 2 sprites or what program uses non-GBA games?

Any help would be much appreciated.
