Bulbasaur. I find this one boring but it was my first, so yeah.

Ivysaur. I'm not even sure what to think about this one..

Charmander. I believe this is my worst.. (even though i adore charmander :/ )

Squirtle. I think this one is the best because I tried a different approach.

Uhg, I tried to redo charmander...... :<

And a third attempt at charmander. What's wrong with me? :/

I'd like to know things I did completely wrong, and I'm not sure if I plan on going back and fixing them, I may just make better ones.
    Any help?

Your trainer sprites are very original. But lack shading. As for your scratch's the bulbasuar needs to be shaded the only shading i see is on its stomach. The charmander outline is weird. That's about it.

Yeah I seem to forget about shading a lot. :/
And I think I'll go back and edit some since i have nothing better to do.
Stupid charmander, my fave pokemon and I can't even do it's outlining right. :<
    Thankyou though!

    Spoiler:
Criticism in the spoiler. I'll come back and do the others later.

I hope you don't mind. Itook your sprite and fiddled with it. Moved a couple pixels around, took the outline off the legs. I was having trouble with trying toexplain how you could fix them so I just edited it.

What you need to do on the the laying down is remove the ouline of the line on the body, it will make the arm seem connected not pieced on. and make the back flow to the tail, not the way you have it. and his right (our left) arm looks wierd like it is kicked out too far.

Your Pokemon scratch sprites are somewhat decent in shading, however, you need work on it. The first charmander is lacking in black, but it seems you are aware of that now. The poses of some of the Pokemon look unnatural and akward. The second charmander looks like it is staring at the ground and about -50 degrees away from the opponent. If this was meant to be a scratch sprite to be put in a game, the Pokemon always face or look at the opponent.

You have alot of room to improve tho, so keep it up!

btw, the unclosed line in the thighs of the trainer sprites are from the official DD trainer sprite. It was not your mistake at all, the official spriters in Pokemon did that purposly becayse the thights were touching each other really close so they made it look blended.
