Charmander strategy - quick help needed!!!

    I'm currently trying to get a 'Rash' charmander as my starting pokemon..

    I am then gonna trade it over to my LeafGreen to EV train...

    I know that it should be trained against gastly and haunter in lavender...

    I need to know the following...

    ? How many EV's gastly and hautner give.

    ? If you get the same amount of EV's by switching charmander out straight away.

    ? How many gastlys and or haunters I will need to battle against to complete charmanders special attack EV training.

    ? What else I should EV train my charmander in and where to do it, who to battle and how many times etc...

    Note: I do NOT have the macho brace

    Thanx in advance for any help...
     
    Don't double-post! Gastly and Haunter give 1 and 2 Sp. Attk EVs, respectively. I doubt that the EVs will be recieved on switching, but who knows. And its 255 EVs to complete training, do the math [remember 2? EVs with Macho Brace]
     
    252 completes training more efficiently and with the same stats

    U get 1 ev from gastly, 2 evs from haunter,yes, u still get evs if u swicth/use exp share, u need to battle 252 gastlys to get its evs(basically, count the evs to 252), and u should train it agasint 252 zubats and 6 watever gives off sp.def evs. And get a jolly nature
