Children of Mana (56K user warning, stay away)

Is anybody else looking forward to Children of Mana? I know the last two mana games weren't the best but this game looks awesome! I found some art for it the other day and it was stunning. Masato Kato is also writing the sceanrios for this game, so I can't wait! So, while we wait for S-E to announce a release date for the game in NA though, here is some of the art I found for the game:

I don't tend to keep up with news about upcoming games, so I hadn't heard of this game before I saw this thread; seeing these pictures has definitely made me interested (to the point where I went out searching for more info on it). It'll most likely be a game I'll want to try out when it's released here...and when I get a DS. :/ Meh.

I'm not so sure anymore... Seiken Densetsu 3 is insanely fun. Legend of Mana doesn't make much sense and you won't ever see a decent enemy worth using half of your superior character's strength on after a hideously long time to get those weapon upgrades. Sword of Mana is not even worth mentioning...

Can this game really break the successive curse on this series...? o_O; Let's hope so...

Based on what I've heard, this is a definite improvement over Sword of Mana and the game is good, but it plays differently from most Mana games as well. Has anyone here played Shining Soul? It's supposedly like that with a Mana feel to it, so the combat system is awesome. Unfortunately the game doesn't play like the previous Mana games though, even if it does have a Mana feel it the dungeon RPG traits the game gets from Shining Soul makes it play differently. So it's a great game, but not like the Secret of Mana games. Oh, I almost forgot to say that the music is also awesome, definitely holds up to the quality of music expected from the Mana series.

Well, most mana games kinda suck and I'm not really a fan of Mana games. I prefer Tales.
