Choose Your Own Adventure: Midamis​

Choose Your Own Adventure:
A choose your own adventure game is where i will come up with a story and i will present you with various options, you will vote on these options, and the one with the most votes will be the continuation of the story. But I'm sure you're all familiar with this.​

Midamis:
Now this is different. The Midamis region is a whole new region NOT INVENTED BY ME. In this CYOA i will be using fakemon sprites created by Neoriceisgood from whackahack. com.
Neorice said it's ok to use his sprites as long as credit is given so NONE OF THE SPRITES OR THE TERM "MIDAMIS" WAS MADE BY ME!

Voting Conditions:

Non-important things like choosing a move or deciding wether to battle a trainer need only 2 votes.
Things such as deciding where to go and talking to people require 3 votes to be decided.
Important things such as choosing wether to catch/obtain a pokemon or talking to important people require 4 votes.
EXTREMELY important things (wich shouldn't happen often) require 7 votes.​

So without further ado, let us begin.​

You are a young boy age 12 living in the Midamis region. You live in a little town named Fleestre. Today is the day you get your first pokemon, although you were supposed to get one at 10, your mother is very defensive. You head to Prof.Filo's lab, but you are stopped by security guards. Something had happened. You demand to know what but the security guards refuse to talk. What do you do?​

A) Rush past them
B)Try again later
C)Ask around
D)Ask your parents to tell the guards to let you through.​

What? Gotta love the spoiled rich kid. Can't you just hear the snooty voice "Daddy, make them move!" *Father slips guards a 50, and they look the other way while you go by*

At least, that's what should happen!

Wait 'till you see the starters.

Edit: Well, i guess its running past.

You start to walk away, then when the guards aren't looking you rush past, you enter the lab, at first you see a long hallway. The guards start chasin you but you reach the other side first. You open the door, shut it right away and lock it with the small twist-knob.
The room is dark, you find the light switch and open it to find....Proffesor Filo....but....he isn't moving, then he wakes up and says "What?! Those two men knocked me out trying to take my research!" You ask if he means those two men outside, he replied yes. So they weren't police.... It was true they had strange green tights and green tunics. They'd had a belt of pokemon and spears...weird.
The professor is still weakly and he points to four pokeballs on the table. "Those are the starter pokemon here, they're labeled with a picture of what's inside except the fourth one, an apprentice of mine was out in the woods and caught it for no reason. So you can take it if you like. That's but a simple door, they'll get past soon."​

Well, two hours are past so the surprise pokemon is......

Fai! (Normal/Psychic)

You take the mystery pokeball and it turns out to be Fai! The Non-social pokemon. Just in the nicka time too. The guards bust through the door and bring out their Pokemon! It's Mitorch and Rabolt! The professor quickly gets up and takes another pokemon: Florcoon! And the fight begins!
First, it's guard 1 vs proffesor Filo, Florcoon uses Razor Leaf but it's dodged by Rabolt (Electric) who uses Thundersock! It hits Florcoon but dosen't do too much damage! Now it's your turn! what do you do?

Fai uses Tail Whip and lowers defense of mitorch, it's Mitorch's turn using ember causing 3 damage.
Florcoon hits Rabolt with Razor Leaf again, this time striking. Rabolt falls over but gets back up right away and uses thundershock, only doing 2 damage to Florcoon.

Headbutt. I do believe any sensible person would pick that so let's continue.

You use Headbutt. The result is catastrophic! You landed a critical hit doing 8 damage!
Mitorch is weak and uses another Ember on Fai! It's not so effective because of weakness and just does 1 damage. You go in for the kill and Mitorch is down.
Filo orders his Florcoon to use Razor Leaf, unfortunatly the prof dosen't is a pokemon researcher not fighter, so being inexperienced he dosen't realize that his Florcoon has tail whip, wich would help.
the Razor leaf hits causing 3 damage, Rabolt uses Tackle, hitting Florcoon and making it loose 3.
What do you do?


A) Ade prof.Filo in his battle.
B) Tell prof.Filo to use tail whip more often.
C) Attempt to run away.
D) Just watch.

Incase you want to know, Filo's Florcoon has about 4/10 remaining and Rabolt has about 4/10 too. Rabolt knows Thundershock, Tackle and Thunder Wave, its ability is Static.​

Well, I'll just vote a third time and decide who'll get it.

I vote Just Watch.

You decide to just watch, you're curious to see how good the professor is at pokemon battling.
The proffesor hits with another Razor Leaf, leaving Rabolt with 1 HP, Rabolt does the same, leaving Florcoon 1 HP. Rabolt uses Tackle, bad move, Razor Leaf finishes it.
You recall Fai, the professor recalls Florcoon, the people slide their swords from the holds on their belts. Now you're in trouble, but the professor grabs the fire starter and releases it, he uses it's ember to melt the metal, now the men run off.
"Thank you so much! Are you here for your starter? You can have that Fai if you like."
You decide to keep Fai! You got your first Pokemon! You can't name him, but look! He's leveled up!
"Alright, here's your pokedex and your bag, with five pokeballs and a few potions."
Now what do you do?


A) Tell your parents that you're going
B) Just Go!
C) Go and tell the Prof to tell your parents for you.
D) Leave them a note.

You look at Fai and then at the proffessor. You're too excited to go and wait for your parent's approval. You ask the Prof if he has a peice of paper and a pen, he gives you the latter and you write a note. You go outside and pick up a rock, you place the note on the ground, putting the rock on it and ring the doorbell. Then you run off with Fai right behind you.
Fai sees many people walking around town and tries to hide behind you. You read the pokedex, it says that Fai are usually very shy towards people other than its trainer. Alright! You've entered route A! There's patches of grass scattered about like blotches in various places, luckily there's a grass-free road for people to take, however there are trainers on it. What do you do?

A) Take the road and battle a trainer
B) Go look for wild pokes to battle/catch
C) Go look for wild pokes to catch/battle and then fight trainers.
D) Avoid trainers and battle pokemon along road 'till you get to next town

This is taking too long! Let's just go with A

You decide that you should go and battle some trainers. To give Fai some experience, you walk up to a trainer with a Rabolt. And ask him to battle. The Rabolt seems determined and anxious. "I only just caught this Rabolt" says the trainer. He's a youngster, maybe about 2 years younger than you. He must be a n00b, like you.
Rabolt walks up to Fai, but Fai tries to hide behind your leg. "Where'd you get that Pokemon?" asks the youngster. You can't tell him the entire truth so you just answer "He's my starter, all the other Pokemon were taken." You encourage the little Fai to fight. He gathers up all the courage he has and marches up to the Rabolt. The trainers go a distance apart and the fights begins
Rabolt goes first, it uses Thundershock, but Fai's shy nature makes an easy dodge. You're up next!​
