4th Gen Claw Fossil

    i just found a claw fossil in the underground and looked it up online. it said it should be revived into an Anorith, but i took it to orebough and it became a cranidos

    any ideas as to why?

    i just found another claw and dont want the same to happen
     
    Huh. Weird. My guess is until you get the National Dex any fossil you get will become the fossil exclusive (Cranidos in Diamond, Shieldon in Pearl). Hold onto the Claw Fossil until you get the National Dex.
     
    does it really do that? how strange. you'd think they'd just say "you can't revive this fossil".
     
    i do have the national dex, and had it at the time of revival. plus i already had a cranidos (but it was in my box)

    guess i'll save beforehand and try this out with a cranidos in my party
