Sup!
Haven't read anything about this online so i thought I'd share it here with you all. You may have already experienced this but just thought i should put it out there for those who don't know.
I'm playing Pokemon X at the moment. So i've beaten the elite 4, caught mewtwo and zygard and updated my mega ring from sycamore. After doing all that, i flew to glittering cave to try and find some old amber for an Aerodactyl. I went to the section in which lies all the rocks to smash; the room illuminated in part by the gems attached to the walls. So i'm casually smashing rocks, hoping to find an Old Amber, and the first rock i smash gives me a Root Fossil. Didn't think much of it.
5 minutes passed of smashing rocks; I had found 3 root fossils, 2 claw fossils and 1 armor fossil. I did find this rather unusual, especially seeing as internet research found nothing of the sort mentioned by other players.
All i remember is that it was around 9.50pm and as soon as it hit 10pm it stopped happening. It was only after 10 pm that the rock smashing led to wild pokemon encounters and the Old Amber. Before that pretty much every rock i was smashing was a fossil.
Has anyone else experienced anything similar? :)
