    In my Silver version, the game has asked me for th hour, after started a new one. I was very late in the game, i have the 250 (Celebi...where are you in Silver ? - Mew is in RBY Bug) Pok?mon. Before load my game, a message say me to re-enter hour, and never after...Is it an error of the game or an event?
     
    Well,I never had that kinda problem before. Maybe it's because your silver version is old.

    That's all I can say.

    I don't think, the game never recall me with this message.

    It happen the same too me !! But it was because I push it in the Game Boy when it was on :D And it turned off and asked me the hour... :)
