Cloning Help

Okay, I honestly didn't know where to put this, so I thought I'd try in general just to be safe.

So I've heard a lot about cloning and was wondering if I could learn how to do it? I know people can do it for me, but I'd like to learn myself.

The only way I've heard of cloning safely is on Emerald. Cloning on D/P can not only get you banned from the GTS (I think), but can also screw up your game. I can tell you about Emerald if you want.
Still, even though I haven't heard of any problems with the Emerald cloning trick, I don't recommend exploiting glitches, just in case.

Uh, cloning technique? you can do it on emerald at the battle tower.

i know how to clone pokemon itis really easy in emerald.
first you go to the battle tower and you put a pokemon by it self in any box.
the save your game. then get the pokemon you put byi tself in the box and put it in your party.
go to the wireless battle part and talk to the lady.
pick open level and pick any pokemon except the pokemon you want to clone.
when it says saving count to 5 and then turn the game off.
when you turn it on it is goint to say something but it is nothing bad. go to the box where you put the pokemon you wanted to clone and their it is you have 2 of the same pokemon 1 is in your party and 1 is in the box where you first put the pokemon you wanted to clone

Is it true you can also steal pokemon from the Battle Factory? I heard about it and I dont know if its true.
