3rd Gen Codesave on GSSP

can someone explain to me how i get the codesave option to work on the pokemon maker? i can create the code file and everything, but i cant seem to import it onto my GSSP. it says to createa blank file on notepad and save it as somthing.xpc ive done that but when i do sample to codesave, nothing happens. thanks

This is how I do it.

1. Open up the Notepad
2. Save it as NameOfPokemonI'mMakingHere.xpc onto the Desktop
3. Open the Pokemon Maker/Calc and fill everything in
4. Generate the Code
5. Click the "Samples to Codesave" button.
6. Select the file I made in step 2 to save it to
7. If my anti-virus kicks in saying the file being made may be a threat, I tell my anti-virus to ignore it and allow the script to run (skip this if you don't have any anti-virus)
8. Check where you saved the file in Step 2. The file should either become a codesave or have a codesave next to it.
9. Connect your GSSP to your PC and open up the GSSP program. Import the codesave and viola, there's your Pokemon. And don't ask me how to import codes on the GSSP. I only have AR, but I know the GSSP can import the codes somehow.

ok thanks those directions are easier than the ones on the website

EDIT: i guese codesave doesnt work for the GSSP format. if i turn it into the ARv3 format it makes a codesave but not for CBA
