What is a Collab?
A collab or collaboration is; in this section, a piece of art made by more than person. One person will begin a collaboration and do some of it, then pass the PSD onto someone else to add the finishing touches.
Collab Time
This thread has many purposes. Firstly it serves as a discussion thread for anything and everything to do with Collaborations. Secondly, it is here to help organize a collab piece. You can do this by posting an unfinished tag that you want someone to complete or you can request for a certain person to do a collab with you. And thirdly, it serves as an archive for all collabs done between PokeCommunity members.
The Rules
A good thread/discussion must have rules, failure to comply will result in loss of respect from the graphics community and possible infraction for a moderator. These rules are here to help prevent ripping/stealing of a tag so be wary of them.
#1. When discussing a piece of art, you must give a minimum of 3 (three) pieces of constructive criticism. If you cannot find 3, you must then state 3 (three) things you like about it, why you like it, and what could be done to improve this feature. This must be done to the last tag posted. This will serve as a double up of the graphics rating thread, but specifically for collab tags.
#2. When posting an unfinished tag for a request, or for someone to complete, the image only will be posted. You can express your interest in doing a collab using that art, but the original artist must agree, and send you the PSD through a PM. If you do not get sent the PSD, do not continue to ask or harp about it. I'm sure most artists here don't want anyone touching their art, so please respect that.
#3. When posting a completed collab, post the original tag and the creator's name, followed by your own completed tag with your name. This helps so we can comment on the final product, as well as what could've been done, left alone etc.
#4. Use the form below to avoid clutter and confusion in the thread.
If your username appears as a specific receiver of a tag, you can choose to accept or reject the offer. If then the original member chooses to make it open to all, post the form again with the edited form. Do not just state; 'whoever wants it can do it'.
This thread should help our Graphics Community grow as well as expanding our knowledge of various graphics styles, effects and members art. Hope everyone has fun and this thread actually gets used. :P
