Hi everyone! 😁
I apologize if this is posted in the wrong location. I'm new to the forum and joined because I've got a nagging question
that's been building up for the last few days.
I primarily collect sealed Pokémon tins and I've recently added a couple of the small, 4 10-card pack tins to my collection.
Now I'm not the most up to date person when it comes to Pokémon news, but for whatever reason many of the recent
articles I've read and YouTube videos I've watched discuss scams and resealed packs.
My question to similar collectors, or anyone who has any knowledge on the subject, is: Are resealed tins a thing? Has anyone
in this community heard of, or has encountered a resealed tin? Is it even possible to do without the replacement plastic
packaging looking sketchy? Are there any telltale giveaways that the tin has been tampered with?
Many of the tins I've collected over the years have plastic packaging that hugs the tin pretty snuggly. To the point where
there's little to no wiggle with the tin's cover. The covers of the new tins I've received have a good amount of wiggle room to
them, nothing major, but it's definitely noticeable. Other than that, everything else looks decent. Am I just being paranoid?
Any insight on this would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
