[Other] Combining different games?

    I might be a bit over my head, but does anyone know how to combine aspects from different games? Like, my plan is to have a pokemon ranger overworld, but with the battle system of dpp or something like that. Or is that too complicated and it would just be easier to stick with a usual gba base for a hack?
     
    I think that you'd have to be very skilled with ASM to even attempt to graft two games together like that. It may be possible, but I wouldn't recommend it unless you are already a very strong programmer.
