Comparisons!

Do you like the new Pokemon games, or will you forever be a fan of the old games. Color, Metal, or Stone generations? What Pokemon do you think are good or bad in each generation compared to others? Whatever your answer is, why?
This is in no way meant to be a thread to diss some games, but it is to compliment others.

well, to diss D/S (which I'm crazy about- don't get me wrong),
they look too much like digimon.

Parukia and diaruga are excessively detailed.
i used to enjoy drawing pokemon, but now, it's just a turn-off.

the pros-- so many pokemon to remember : )
this franchise is simply incomparable.

i enjoyed sapphire, definitely.

I will reserve my judgment until DP actually comes out so I can do an actual comparison. For the existing games, Emerald blows all the others out of the water. It is far and away the best overall game, as it should be. Storyline-wise though, nothing comes close to GSC. I wish they would have done a remake to that instead of RBY.

The game get better and better eac time they come out. So I like the new games.
