    Hi

I'm very new to the pokemon gaming scene - in that I've just got fire red and leaf green.

I only have a DS and a Wii and was wondering if it was possible to connect the DS to my friends GBA to swap/battle pokemon? and what do I need to do that?

also I know that you can connect the GBA to the GC to play colisseum but can you connect the DS as the wii plays GC games?

any help you guys can give me on compatability of software and games would be great!

    Thanks,

    Dan

well guys I answered my own question.

I got in touch with nintendo.com - but the US division of nintendo were unable to help with a UK gameboy - even though it would appear that the portable consoles are not region specific - go figure!

Think they didn't want to answer my question - why would they include a GBA option on the DS if they were removing the connectivity feature? anyways they eventually told me that I could not connect my DS to a GBA and that I wouldn't be able to connect the DS to a GC. So that question is answered if anyone else was wondering

Hey, no need to be rude. He just needs help. Even so, double posting is against the rules, so next time just edit. As for you question, a DS can't connect to a GBA but a DS can connect to a DS and a GBA can connect to another GBA...that was confusing... xD
And, I don't know about your second problem. I'm never done that sort of thing with a Gamecube or a Wii.

My fault I suppose I didn't read the forum rules. Thought I was helping out with other readers though..

Thanks for your help F.L.Y much appreciated

I'll try my best not to double post in future - although if I had read the rules I imagine I'd have taken double post to mean posting the exact same thing twice. I don't see how what I've done causes any harm - it doesn't take up much more space on the server
