say GF creates a download or separate game for competitive players gives you the tools to be competitive. Now everything would remain the same they just make it easier for perfect pokes and faster EV training would you buy/download it?

By tools? Do you mean tools that let you create a perfect Pokémon without putting any work into it? I still see that as cheating, so I wouldn't use it. I know others don't see it that way, as this has been discussed many times.

If it's just a tool you can use as reference, I don't mind. But tools that let you download a Pokémon in your game, are a big no for me.

I wont like it. The part of the fun in doing competitive play is the tireless hours of finding that perfect 'mon with that perfect nature and moves and once you found it you will rejoice to the world that you finally have it.

Using those tools will feel very lazy and won't give that sense of accomplishment when you create your team or when you win a competitive battle with another player. Maybe that's why simulators like Pokemon Showdown don't give me that enjoyment because I didn't work hard for them. Simulators are there, afterall, to just test out teams before looking for them in your game.

One thing I've always disliked about Pokemon is how tedious and dull some parts of it are. This includes breeding, soft-resetting, etc. for ideal Pokemon. I don't think the game should involve you literally working for your Pokemon. It's simply not enjoyable and I wish there were more methods to get around it. (Destiny Knot and the automatic perfect 3 IVs for legends are nice, though.) Personally, I would rather quickly make a team and get onto the good stuff: battles. Battle simulators let me do just that, but it's a shame the actual game fails in that aspect.

Additionally, I've never liked IVs and natures at all. I want to be able to catch a Pokemon and for that one to be viable right then. It really sucks when one realizes that their in-game team has horrible stats and has no luck in competitive play. I do like how natures provide some uniqueness to each Pokemon, but I don't think they should affect stats.

One of the main weapons in Game Freak's arsenal is the work that you must go through to get a Pokémon that you want. I think it would take the fun out of it if they just created a cheating system for players. Like the others have said, the sense of accomplishment is worth the time.
