    Raichu @ Choice Specs.
    Nature: Hardy
    Ability: Static
    EV Spread: 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
    Moveset:
    - Thunderbolt
    - Hidden Power Ice 70
    - Grass Knot
    - Surf

Very effective set, despite the nature.

Surf and Grass Knot accomplish pretty much the same thing, in fact with HP Ice there is almost no Ground Type Pokemon that can come near you, I would just breed another Pikachu and go for Focus Blast instead of Surf.

Timid would help a lot more than your neutral nature and surf

Actually grass knot lols at swamperts who think they're funny. But yeah surf, HP ice and G knot is a bit of overkill. Anyway, go light ball pikachu! Raichu is barely faster, and i perfer being able to switch between moves over that extra strength.

    Pikachu@Light Ball
Hardy (Its a pity its not timid lol)
    252SpAtt/252Spd/6HP
    Grass Knot
    Surf
    HP Fight
    T-Bolt

This set covers most things, plus the raichu sprite is fat lol. Go cuddly pikachu :)

for this set choice specs is bad very bad you will want to have a Focus sash instead also you need a Timid nature to make that work good idea any way and good luck

IV set up for HP ice 70
    HP 30, Att 31, Def 30, SP.A 31, SP.D 31, SPD 31

It is a PBR Pikachu... That means that it can only be hardy natured... o.0

Secondly, he already has the Pikachu, and considering he has posted that it has HP Ice, it obviously does, so you don't need to state what is obvious, and un-helpful.

Specs is fine on Raichu, Focus Sash works, but Specs is a fancied option.

Do you realize it's impossible to have HP Ice Power 70 on a PBR Raichu?

Also, it's not doing anything useful with Surf anyway (well maybe hit Magcargo and Camerupt, but uh, that's about it really)

Yeah, you're much better off running with Nasty Plot + Focus Sash + Timid Nature.

Actually you can, no pokemon in the entire game has set IVs, they're always random. So any HP is viable, if you can get if pikachus. Which are still better than raichu :)

Actually surf has pretty good coverage

Just a couple of points i thought need pointed out.

    Raichu @ Choice Specs.
    Nature: Hardy
    Ability: Static
    EV Spread: 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
    Moveset:
    - Thunderbolt
    - Hidden Power Flying 66
    - Grass Knot
    - Surf

This is the Raichu I have. Look at what it's capable of taking down:

    Gyarados
    Heracross
    Swampert
    Rhyperior
    Skarmory
    Medicham
    Hippowdon

    Wait, WHAT?

For one thing, all those pokes you've mentioned are slower than Chu. So anything with a base speed higher than, oh, say, 95, will be able to easily outspeed & eliminate it with little effort. For instance:

    Garchomp
    Salamence
    Vire
    Charizard
    Tentacruel (WTF)

etc. Because base SPD of 299 isn't impressive. Any [well trained] Raichu can take those that you mentioned out easily. Well, maybe not Hera, since you have HP Flying.

With Timid, he eliminates those problems. He either Outspeeds or catches up to those pokes (even Chomp, since they are not all bred with Max SPD) Surf & Grass Knot is redundant. But if you can use it, then hey. More power to ya.

Plus, with NP, he now gets the power of Choice Specs (actually, I think it's more) and the freedom to attack. Any slightly faaster poke can take out a Choice Specs Chu, especially a Hardy one, since almost all hits are OHKO. But if Chu is faster, he can get in a NP, abuse Focus Sash, & wreck havok on all slower pokes.

EDIT:While Surf may hit many things, Grass Knot has higher priority. It can KO most OU pokes out there. & anything it doesn't, T-Bolt takes out.

Grass & Thunder hits every type except grass. so Hidden Power or Focus Blast makes up for that. You still can't take out Poison/Grass, but who cares?

    Hippowdon
Gyarados: All he'll do is summon Electivire then OH GOD.
Heracross: Heracross is commonly seen running off of Choice Scarf, so good luck surviving against it and / or outrunning it.
Swampert: They'll realize what you're doing when something dies and you send Raichu, so it's only natural that they'll switch.
    Rhyperior: See Swampert
    Skarmory: See Gyarados
    Medicham: See Heracross
Hippowdon: As much HP as that thing has, it's GOING to survive a Grass Knot, even the Spec'd one.

HP Flying is hopelessly pointless just to attack Fighting Type Pokemon, when you could be doing something much more useful (like using HP Ice to attack the nasty Dragon attackers and Gliscor).

    _______________________________________________________________________________________________

Regarding the Surf + Grass Knot matter, as I've explained earlier, Surf only hits 2 extra Pokemon super-effectively. Either way, all Rock / Ground or Water / Ground or Rock / Water type combos can be easily wiped with Grass Knot. There's not a big use at all for Surf.

"Actually you can, no pokemon in the entire game has set IVs, they're always random. So any HP is viable, if you can get if pikachus. Which are still better than raichu :)"
Uh, who would really want to reset the game over 5000 times just to get HP Flying on a Pikachu that only gets a Neutral Nature?

"Actually surf has pretty good coverage"
I'd like a list of all the things that Surf can hit that Grass Knot, Thunderbolt, and Focus Blast won't be able to. I'd like that essay Double-Spaced. Footnotes are optional. Bibliography not needed. No plagarism ;)

I'm just going to breed for Nasty Plot + Timid nature.

I would HIGHLY advise you too.

If they changed the Nature, I'd love to try Surfing Chu, but hardy hinders it.
