[ASM & Hex] Compiling Fire Red Intro

I'm a beginner to ROM hacking, and I'd like to insert Shinyquagsire's crystal intro seen here:

However, I'm completely lost on how to actually insert it. Can someone explain it to me step by step? I also have no idea how to change the compile.sh to work for Windows.
