[Other✓] Completely new to this stuff, any tips?

    Hey, so I wanna get started working on my own game/rom hack or whatever, but I've really never worked with coding and stuff like that. I'm using Advanced Map and Extreme Script Editor, I've figured out how to work with the map editor on a very basic level, but I'm completely lost with the script editing and stuff like that, so any beginning tips to help set me on the right path?
     
    This tutorial is a great place to start with XSE scripting. Be patient and practice a lot and you'll eventually get it down!
