Well this is my 2nd return thread. I believe my 1st one was sometime last year. I joined the forums back in October 2007 primarily because I had just gotten into emulation. I of course owned the games on GBA but I found that playing them on the computer was more enjoyable on the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, play-throughs because you can speed up the game when you wish. Here I discovered some neat hacks and spent the majority of my time in that section. I spent a few good months there, mostly browsing as can be seen by my low post count, but enjoying my time nonetheless.
Then last year I made a brief return but because I didn't own a DS I felt I had little to contribute and stopped checking in.
A couple weeks ago I bought a DS Lite and Pokemon Platinum and have been thoroughly enjoying the game. With the release of HG/SS and my recent purchase of Platinum I figured it would be a perfect time to make a return to these forums, and this time I'll be able to contribute to the community.
I've also been picking up some photoshop skills over the past 1.5 years (though I'm by no means very good, but I'm slowly working on that) and this seems like a great place to develop that skill. My avatar is a picture I modified to add myself and Snorlax to a background. I actually used it as my facebook picture for a while :cheeky: I also plan to make a sig for these forums over the next day or two so I'll have to see how that turns out.
It's nice to be back, and I look forward to hanging around here this time.
PS - Sunday can't come fast enough!
