[Eventing Question] Control Timer Issues

    I have a control timer set up where it teleports me somewhere and then starts a control timer for 5 minutes. Then i have an event in the zone I teleported to that will teleport me back when the timer hits 0. Problem is that when i encounter a pokemon or battle a trainer, the timer goes away. How would I do this how I want to?
