So I noticed that there are the new type-boosters in Diamond and Pearl - "Plates"

So now I have to know, what's best?

If I was going to give a type-booster to my Pokemon, which of the three is the best?

    For example:

I have an Alakazam right now, he's level 40 (yay Psychic!). I have the Mind Plate, the Odd Incense, and the Twisted Spoon. All three of them are described as boosting Psychic-type moves. Which one do I use?

I was under the impression that it went - Incense, Type-Specific Item (Spoon, Seed, Charcoal, etc), Plate. But I still want to know.

Another comparison would be: Sea Incense, Mystic Water, Splash Plate.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I think they work the same so choose which ever you want except the odd incense. Alakazam has a great sp. atk anyways

The plates are more for Arceus if/when you get him, so save those. And the Incense is for breeding. Go with the Twistedspoon.

How did you get a Mind Plate!?? I've been looking for one :'(

Thank you. I looked around, and I noticed that the incenses are all 5% and the other items are all 10%, but still no word on the plates.

I think the Mind Plate was in the Solaceon Ruins. I need to get my hands on a Twisted Spoon, though. That's the one thing I don't have in Pearl, and I only have one on Leaf Green and Mewtwo is holding it.

Yeah, use the Twistedspoon, save the plate.

Trade you a twistedspoon for your Mind Plate
