ok, yes - this is very similar to the team on my sig - but this team is only in the NU teir, and only 3 pokemon (for the double battle battle tower) the fourth is an extra that may/may not be included (if it's 4v4, then Y, if 3v3, no)
I realised that, While swampert was in OU teir, the more epic Whiscash is in NU, and his partner charizard is aswell. so... i decided to build this team!

    here's how it goes...

    [PokeCommunity.com] Dark Pulse's ultimate NU/DB team!
    [PokeCommunity.com] Dark Pulse's ultimate NU/DB team!

    Whiscash + Charizard

these two, together, are unstoppable! - here's a bit more info

    Whiscash

    Nature - Adamant
    Item - Rindo Berry
    EV set - 252 HP 252 ATK 4 DEF
    Moves:
    Earthquake
    Aqua Tail/waterfall
    Rock slide/stone edge
    Dragon Dance

    Charizard

    Nature - Modest
    Item - Life Orb/Choice Specs
    EV set - 252 SA 252 Spd 4 HP
    Moves:
    Air Cutter
    Dragon Pulse
    Heat Wave
    Focus Blast/tailwind

    then we have:

    [PokeCommunity.com] Dark Pulse's ultimate NU/DB team!

    Lapras

    Nature - Modest
    Item - Leftovers
    EV distribution - 192 HP 112 Def 160 SpA 44 SpD
    Moves:
    Rest
    Sleep Talk
    Ice Beam
    Thunderbolt

and, as a final choice (may be changed)

    [PokeCommunity.com] Dark Pulse's ultimate NU/DB team!

    Shedinja

    Nature - Adamant
    Item - Focus Sash
    EV Distribution - 252 ATK 4 DEF 252 Spd
    Moves:
    Swords dance
    X-Scizor
    Sucker punch
    Toxic
    ---------------------------------------------
I am also thinking of changing Lapras to Dewgong, as it has the Hydration ability, my only problem there is charizard, as it is weakened in rain (but charizard's only move that will be weakened is Heat wave, and that is boosted by STAB and Blaze, so it may not be too much of a problem) but i can always change charizard

if dewgong is included, it will be:

    Rain dance
    Rest
Icy Wind/Blizzard (STAB + grass kill)
    Surf/Aqua Jet/Aqua Ring/thunderbolt
if you have any pokemon swap suggestions, make sure the pokemon is in NU Tier, then tell me about it
    ---------------------------------------------------------

This set is entirely made up of NU pokemon, please, if you give critisism, please make it constructive, as i don't want to just hear you venting about how crap it is, just tell me what is wrong, and how to change it

    ----------------------------------------------------------
    OK, here's my strategy

If Charizard knows Tailwind, then Whiscash's EV's go to Spd and ATK, but otherwise, i bulk whiscash up, whiscash will dragon dance, while chari will attack opponents, but if Whiscash shudders, then i swap in for Shedinja/DewgongLapras, depending whether i think Shedinja will die.

If Dewgong is my choice, then I may swap Charizard for something else, otherwise, Lapras will tank out, Icing and Bolting when needed, then restTalking when it's weak.

Shedinja is also a staller, as it will toxic opponents, then swords dance to full attack, and sucker punch/X-scizor.

I've tried to make the set flexible so the pokemon work well on their own, yet with synergy to allow pokemon to work together. as a result, i could only fit 4 pokemon, with some hesitation (you've got to give me points for trying, NU has very bad pokemon)

note: this team was thrown together on the basis of whiscash/charizard, the rest are just fill-ins to even types out

Wait, if this is for the Battle Tower, that means it belongs in the in-game section and not the competitive battling section (because you'll be fighting computer opponents and not real people).

Also, this team may work against the computer, but not against real players. You still don't really know how to build good teams for double battles and Smogon can't help you because they only have strategies for single battles. It's definitely better than the team in your last thread because you've learned about EV spreads and better moves.

But it could be better still if you learn about making movesets specifically for doubles.

One thing that's extremely important is using MOVES THAT HIT BOTH OPPONENTS.
You gave Whiscash two of these - Earthquake and Rock Slide, but your Charizard only has moves that hit one opponent and the same goes for the rest of your Pokemon.

Charizard does have a good move that hits both opponents - HEAT WAVE! Replace Flamethrower with it.

Another thing you should learn about is the value of PROTECT. In singles, Protect is rarely used on sweepers since it's not that useful. But in doubles, Protect is SUPER IMPORTANT. It lets you survive for an extra turn so that your partner can attack or set up and it lets you scout the movesets of your opponent for dangerous moves like Explosion.

This is only the tip of the iceberg of double battling, but hopefully you learned something from this.

Shedinja is good, if you know how to use him, im basically a perfessional shedinja trainer, as i have used mine forever, and have changed its movesets so often, SCRAP HIS SET, and also, you might wanna scrap him in all, sheddy doesnt do too well on this team, he is completely abundant from the rest of your team.

    Try this set:
    Shedinja@Focus sash
    Adamant
    Swords dance
    Protect/Endure
    X-Scissor
    Shadow Claw

i see that you had swords dance, so make it a better sweeper, sucker punch may be a priority move, but otherwise it sucks on sheddy, give him STAB moves such as X-Scissor or Shadow Claw, these would turn out much stronger than a simple Toxic which shouldnt be on a sweeping set

    um... air slash?

and why didn't you tell me of heat wave in my other one? I chose lava plume for that reason, but i forgot about heat wave. (and i thought it was all opponents aswell)

also I kind of made this team too fast, as my internet was about to turn off, so i rushed with shedinja and lapras, but my first two were my main thoughts (that's why it was battle tower, not proper)

My Shdinja is more of a staller than a sweeper, as i use him to take out grass types/pokemon's with grass moves (Whiscash has anticipation, and grass is its only weakness (but its 4x, so 1HKO without {and sometimes even with} rindo)
