Sometimes this happens when I try to come in PC.Does this happen to anyone else, and if so why?

It happens to me. I have found a solution though. Close down the PokeCommnity forums and then wait 10 seconds. Open up a new tab and type by hand pokecommunity.com. If it still doesn't ork, just keep Refreshing the page or trying the instructions above.

    Hope this helps! :)

The PC database is backed up once a day, so it may be the case that you've logged in at the time at which that is occurring. In the past hour or so there have been issues with the downtime; this, however, was a one-off.

please DO NOT keep refreshing the page. It adds to the problem that is causing the errors in the first place (usually too many [mysql] connections)

It worked for me. Or you could just try typing by hand the pokecommunity.com website address after closing the problematic tab or window.

Once again thanks everyone. But since the issue has been some-what resolved,MODS you know what to do!

Maybe so, but it puts extra strain on the server at a busy time. It only serves to delay the process of getting the server running again.

That does nothing to resolve a problem with the database. >>

I was a short-time admin on a forum now gone that had contant DB errors. The thing I described above did work.

My girlfriend works in IT and owns 40 GB of web hosting space, and she agrees with me that typing a web address in by hand will do nothing to resolve a server-side database error.

^ And as your Site Admin Rukario says - and seriously, guys, listen to him - refreshing puts more load on the server and makes the problem last longer. You're making it worse.

I agree, all it does is add more strain to the server, so like you said, it does nothing.

Is this fixed, cause PC is still really slow for me.

the slowness is NOT related to any database errors.. the few db errors you see recently is due to me restarting the sql and/or web server. the slowness is due to network problems due to a large attack on our provider's network/ip space.
